Premium Last-Mile
White glove delivery in Cape Town is a premium last-mile service for art, furniture, and fragile goods that goes beyond standard courier drop-offs. JLog's trained two-person crews handle unpacking, installation, room-of-choice placement, condition reporting, and debris removal — so your high-value items arrive safely and are ready to enjoy.
The Service
Every white glove delivery from JLog follows a structured process designed for high-value, fragile, and oversized items that standard couriers cannot handle safely.
We deliver within a 2-hour appointment window that works for your schedule. No all-day waiting. Our driver calls 30 minutes before arrival so you can prepare the space.
Every white glove delivery uses a trained two-person crew equipped with furniture blankets, floor protectors, door jamb guards, and lifting straps. No item is carried by a single person.
We carry items to the exact room and position you specify — upstairs, through narrow doorways, around corners. We measure access points in advance for oversized pieces.
We carefully remove all packaging layers including outer cartons, foam corners, bubble wrap, tissue, and custom crate materials. Each layer is inspected for damage during removal.
Photographic condition report before and after delivery, documenting existing damage, overall condition, and delivery confirmation with GPS timestamp. Accepted by all major insurers.
All packaging materials — cardboard, foam, plastic wrap, wooden crate panels — are removed from your premises and recycled. You're left with nothing but your item in place.

Specialist Service
Our art installation team handles the complete process of hanging and positioning artwork in residential and commercial spaces across Cape Town. This is not a standard handyman service — our crew is trained in gallery-standard installation techniques used by the Norval Foundation, Everard Read, and Rossouw Modern galleries.
For wall-mounted works, we assess the wall type (brick, drywall, concrete, stone), select appropriate fixings (D-rings, French cleats, security hangings, or picture rail systems), and use laser levels to ensure perfect alignment. We carry a full toolkit including masonry bits, plasterboard anchors, spirit levels, and hanging wire rated for artwork up to 200kg.
For freestanding sculptures and three-dimensional works, we handle plinth placement, base levelling, and earthquake putty for areas with vibration. We also install display lighting when specified — track lighting, picture lights, and LED spots positioned for optimal viewing.
Every installation includes a condition report documenting the artwork's state before and after hanging, with close-up photographs of any pre-existing condition issues for your insurance records.
Paintings, framed prints, photographs, mirrors, tapestries, and mixed-media pieces. We handle works up to 3m wide and 200kg including large-format contemporary pieces.
Freestanding sculptures, bronzes, ceramics, and installations. Plinth positioning, base levelling, and seismic putty for stability.
Track lighting, picture lights, and LED spots positioned to eliminate glare and enhance artwork presentation. Electrical work by licensed electricians.
Premium Delivery
Our white glove furniture service goes beyond doorstep delivery. We carry your furniture to the exact room and position you specify, assemble flat-pack or partially assembled items, level and adjust feet, attach wall-mounted units, and ensure everything is stable and functional before we leave.
For clients of Pierre Cronje, Kino, Bofred, and Müvek, we handle the final delivery of bespoke furniture pieces that have been shipped internationally to our Woodstock warehouse. Each piece receives a full condition inspection on arrival at our facility, with any transit damage reported to the shipper before delivery to the client.
We protect your home during delivery. Floor runners cover all walkways, door jamb guards protect frames, and furniture blankets stay on until the item is in its final position. For multi-storey buildings without lifts, we use stair-climbing equipment rated for items up to 350kg.
Dining tables, chairs, sideboards, beds, sofas, desks, shelving units, wardrobes, display cabinets, outdoor furniture, and bespoke joinery. Items up to 350kg and 3m length.
For oversized or heavy pieces, we conduct a free access assessment before delivery. We measure doorways, staircases, lifts, and turning clearances to ensure the item fits — and plan an alternative route if it doesn't.
Need the old sofa removed before the new one arrives? We offer old furniture removal as an add-on service. Items in good condition are donated to local charities; damaged items are responsibly disposed of.
